Flowers are a big part of what makes a
wedding visually pleasing, but be careful! Flowers are very expensive and they are
gone tomorrow. They have no lasting value. Too many flowers can detract from,
rather than enhance, the beauty of the bride and groom, the vows, and the ceremony. Too
many flowers can also, by default, be an ostentatious display of materialism rather than a
symbol of beauty to augment the beauty of the love of God and of the couple.
