Deacons Report

During the year 2006, your board of deacons continue to meet regularly at a monthly meeting prior to the council meeting.  We currently have five deacons serving you, and possibly would be looking for a 6^th person as our ministry continues to grow.  For our newest members, the names of our deacons are as follows:  Diane Mehrten, Mike Nielsen, John Jensen, Keith Dickey, and Phil Tews. 

In the latter part of 2006, Darel Mehrten experienced some health problems and your deacons had the opportunity to visit our shut-ins and hospitalized members during his absence.  We continue to have a deacon available after each service for prayer, although the attendance is very small.   

In keeping with our latest “theme” in forward steps to living closer to God, we as the board of Deacons collectively will do like wise.  The closer we are to our gracious God the closer we will become to each other.  Once again, thank you for your prayers and your support as we continue to serve you.
