Men’s Ministries

The center of our Men’s Ministries here at Immanuel is the Thursday Morning Bible Study. Each Thursday of the month, 40-45 men meet for Bible study, breakfast and mutual support. They meet at 6:00 AM in the Social Hall. Pastor Demant leads the study.  In 2006 they began using the Serendipity Bible for Men.

The highlight of the year came in September when the other pastors in Easton came and gave their faith stories.

Special thanks go to Pastor for cooking and to Dick, Tom, Doug, Mike and Jim for setting up and cleaning up. Also thanks go to Andrew for cooking and Phil for leading the study when Pastor was out of town.

The Lutheran contingent of the Thursday Morning group sets up and cleans up for communion when it falls on a non-first Sunday time (Christmas, Easter, Maundy Thursday, & etc.).

There is one men’s small group weekly Bible Study. They have taken on the task of providing a luncheon for all the families that have their babies baptized. They study also provides the meal for the congregation on Confirmation Sunday.

As in the past, the men organized the Salvation Army Bell ringing.

If you would like to start a men’s small group Bible study, contact the pastor and he will help you with materials and ideas.

All men are invited and all men are welcome.
