Sunday School

Sunday School will be held the first two Sundays in June.  We will be making a special craft on the 3rd and on the 10th we will make a special Father's Day craft.  Be sure to come and enjoy the fun!  We will meet in the church at 9:15 as we are learning a song to sing with the adult choir.  Don't be late!

Summertime will soon be here and kids can hardly wait.  Those Moms and Dads, who do not look forward to summer, are already looking for things to do!  Vacation Bible School is something you can send your children to on Monday through Friday starting July 30th and ending August 3rd.  Marcia Hollenbeck and I are already planning for an exciting week.  If you would like to help with VBS, now is the time to volunteer.  By volunteering you get to choose what you want to do...otherwise, we will keep bothering you until you get a job you may not prefer!  All kidding aside, now is the time to let us know if you can help.  There will be a sign up in the church entryway for you to sign up...we need teachers, helpers, crafters, clean-up people, game players, snack people, musicans and singers.  We may need baby sitters for those who want to help but need someone to watch his/her young child.  Please call me or sign up!  We will be having a planning meeting on Tuesday, June 19 at 9:30 am in the social hall.  I would like to spend time with all involved so that we can be able to spend time and work out the "kinks" of running the best VBS in the country!

Sunday School will restart in September.  If you have a calling to teach a class, you need only call me or talk to me.  I try to get teacher friendly materials that has information for the teacher to feel confident and for the kids to have fun.  Listen to your heart...may be VBS would be a neat way to start.
